air samplers to monitor the site. Samples are collected over a
24-hour period every six days and have been collected since January 1989.

On October 15, 2008, the
United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) lowered the National
Ambient Air Quality Lead Standard from a quarterly average of 1.5 µg/m3 to a
rolling three-month average of 0.15 µg/m3, effective October 2009. The
method of collecting the samples did not change. All results are below
the current standard for the Site of 1.5 ug/m3 and below the revised NAAQS
standard of 0.15 ug/m3.
